Helping raise much needed fund for these children isn't easy, it takes alot time, effort and time to volunteers to help raise the funds to help the kids.

Lots of people with hearts of Gold who raise the money, and the people who look after disadvantage chilren. And also the people that give money -

Wow dosent time fly when your having FUN !!!!!! Its already april where has the year gone. The bash goes from Port to Port this year, 29th july to 7th aug. We retrace the route of the very first Variety Bash !!! Variety is celebrating its 21st Birthday......

The Ride4Kids in march seen us go from bris to bundy for the weekend. Unfortunately is was a very weekend, which seen alot of bikes pull out. But the 11 bikes who did turn up got very wet but had a great time.

26th Jan Australia Day took us to the streets of Bris on a pub crawl raising money along the way and even picking up some locals to join in the crawl...

Ride 4 Kids Bike Bash Oct 09

Beautiful sunshine for the bike bash. Bit of a dust storm but that didn't stop our bikes making there way from Caboulture to Bell for lunch then thru to dalby for stop over and then on to Leyburn the next day to watch the grand final at Shane Webke's Pub.

Great weekend $8700 was raised this weekend. 20 bikes came along so if we can double the bikes then next time we can double the money. So if you have a bike and want to help us help the children then come along, next ride is in Feb. contact Variety Office.

2009 Variety Bash Townsville to Alice springs

Well were back and it was a great bash. We raised 1.3million for the kids this year, so what a great effort.Townville to Alice Springs in 10 days. Lots of Dust, rough roads and plenty of good times. We would like to thank everyone that helped us help the children.

Wow has been a long time since i wrote in here.
The car is just about finished, Dano (Joys son ) is just doing the final finishes. A BIG THANK YOU to DANO and IILAEUS (electrician) for spending so much time on it.

We will be driving to townsville- townsville to Alice Springs - our bash car is being brought back to brisbane by truck thanks to Toll. And we will fly back.
Virgin Bash is 18-19 July so we are looking forward to that.
Helen is off to America on Fri so i hope she has a great time.

We have still got about $2000.00 to raise so are still fundraising hard and seeking sponsors.

Freshly Painted Car

Here she is Our freshly painted Bash Car, that I (Karen) painted with the help of Dimo and quite proud of my effort. Now that she is painted she is off to get some mechanical work done and then we start driven her around. We have a few sponsors but are looking for more so pass the blog on to anyone you think might be able to help.
